GETTING TO CAPE CLEAR

Cape Clear is an island located 12 km (approx. 45 minutes) off the South West coast of Ireland. A regular boat/ferry runs from the village of Baltimore (or Schull at certain times of the year). The nearest airport is Cork International Airport which is located 58 miles (93 Km) or 1 hr 45 minutes by car from Baltimore. Cork airport is about 15 minutes outside Cork city. Dublin International Airport is located 166 miles (267 Km) or 3 hours from Cork city by car. Shannon Airport is located 77 miles (123 Km) or 2 hours by car.

A regular bus service runs between Cork and Skibbereen or Baltimore.
