-You will be sent an email with links for all the video’s, to watch at your leisure, and share with friends and family
– You have free access to these events until early January 2021, if you would like to donate , all the details can be found at the bottom of this page. All proceeds go to supporting Storytellers of Ireland, a non profit organisation supporting storytelling all over the country.

‘Hear All the Tellers’
Hear all the Tellers! A very popular event at the festival. Here is the first ever online version,
where you can hear all the MC’s as well as all the featured Artists. There are a few surprise appearances too…see if you recognise any of them. Stories range from how the storyteller got revenge on the king, to a mad Icelandic invention way ahead of its time…

‘Online Storyswap’
Our first every online Storyswap will be held after “Hear All The Tellers”.
The Story Swaps have always been a very important and popular part of the Cape Clear Storytelling Festival so our committee have scheduled one for this Friday night at 8.30 pm Irish time for anyone who would like to attend. To register click HERE.!

A celebration, in Irish, of stories and songs and a few tunes

‘Saturday Night Concert’
Join all the featured Artists as they introduce themselves and bring us into another place with their tales and merriment.
From how a herd of fine cows first came to Iceland, to songs of a mythical disease, and of knowing a place. There may be a few more people you recognise, saying hello!
Sunday 5th September

‘Children’s Stories’
Liz Weir and featured tellers give stories for the younger audience, find out why a cat purrs and how the rabbit lost his tail…
7pm-8pm
‘Grand Finale’
What do you get if you mix a worldly bunch of storytellers with 2 fabulous singer songwriters from Cork?
Cape Clear Virtual Storytelling Festival.
All the featured Artists perform one last time. An Italian Folktale, Fairies of the Kenyan
Coast, Heaven and Hell and good tobacco, a Lament for Bob, and the wayfaring stranger. And again a few surprise guests saying hello.

While we are offering this series of events for free, many are asking how to donate. We are supporting Storytellers of Ireland this year. If you have enjoyed these events and If you would like to make a donation we suggest that you make a one-off payment to Ireland’s storytelling umbrella organisation Storytellers of Ireland/Aos Scéal Éireann
