Please arrive 15 minutes before the event starts. Due to limited venue sizes, our island location, and possible waiting lists, late arrivals may have their places offered to another waiting guest.
Ferry Tip: The first Saturday morning ferry will not get you in on time for this event. Please secure your accommodation on the island beforehand.

Gerry ClancyMCsGerry Clancy is a member of Storytellers of Ireland, and the Dublin based storytelling group “Story-O”. A regular contributor to Cork and Dublin Yarn Spinners. He was featured on the Dublin Yarnspinners CD “15 Years of Dublin Yarnspinners” which was released in 2011. Gerry is a visual artist and professional consultant for the arts industry.
As an artist his work has featured in a number of exhibitions both nationally and internationally. Gerry has also been a Co-Director Cape Clear International Storytelling Festival from 2012 to 2016.

Liz Weir (artist)Liz Weir is a storyteller, writer and arts educator from Northern Ireland with an international reputation for her work in storytelling. She was the first recipient of the International Story Bridge Award from the National Storytelling Network in the USA, recognising her work promoting storytelling between Ireland and other countries. In 2019, she was awarded an MBE for services to the arts and education.
Liz has performed for audiences of all ages across five continents, appearing everywhere from festivals and theatres to schools, prisons and hospitals. Her work has brought her to venues including the Royal Albert Hall, New York’s Grand Central Station and major storytelling festivals in the USA and Australia. She is the author of more than twenty books, including Boom Chicka Boom, When Dad Was Away and Tales of the Road. Alongside her storytelling and writing, Liz has collaborated on music and spoken-word projects including All for the Dead Man’s Penny and A Cloak of Wisdom. Liz is a longstanding committee member of the Cape Clear International Storytelling Festival and the director of the Glens Storytelling Festival.
