Let the story magic begin on Cape Clear! Join us for our first Storyswap of the weekend. Whether you wish to share a tale or sit back and listen, gather with us in the opening event to our festival.
Every year this unique gathering brings together visitors from around the world to share stories and experiences- building a festival community for celebrating culture, creativity and connection.

Ticket Tip: You do not need to get a ticket for this event. Donations are appreciated. This Storyswap is to be held at an Club.

Ferry Tip: The morning ferry leaving Baltimore at 10.45am will get you in at approximately 11.30am- giving you some time to get a coffee and festival program before the stories start. Please note that ferry seats are limited, book in advance to ensure you get yours!     Gerry Clancy is a member of Storytellers of Ireland, and the Dublin based storytelling group “Story-O”. A regular contributor to Cork and Dublin Yarn Spinners. He was featured on the Dublin Yarnspinners CD “15 Years of Dublin Yarnspinners” which was released in 2011. Gerry is a visual artist and professional consultant for the arts industry.

    As an artist his work has featured in a number of exhibitions both nationally and internationally. Gerry has also been a Co-Director Cape Clear International Storytelling Festival from 2012 to 2016.
